We Believe Every Church Deserves a Space That Reflects Its Mission.

We started The Conifer Co. with one conviction: not every church is ready for an architect — but every church is ready for Conifer.

We work exclusively with churches to align their physical spaces and brand with the mission they're already living out. Most churches don't need a full renovation. They need clarity — a focused strategy that tells them exactly what to change, why it matters, and how to get there within their budget.

We also partner with Impact Churches, a nationwide church design, build, and renovation collaborative, for churches ready to take the next step toward renovation or a new build.

What We Believe

Your space is already preaching. The question is whether it's saying what you intend. Before a visitor hears your pastor speak, they've already formed an opinion. Every space communicates, intentionally or not.

Strategy comes before design. A fresh coat of paint without a plan is just paint. We spend real time understanding your congregation, your mission, and your community before we recommend a single change.

Every church has a workable budget. The gap between where a church is and where it needs to be doesn't always require a massive investment. Our tiered model is designed to meet congregations at every budget level.

We believe in the local church. This is personal. We work exclusively with churches because we believe the local church is the hope of the world, and that a space which reflects that calling is one of its most powerful tools.

MEET THE TEAM

The Conifer Co. was built by people who have been on both sides of this work — as ministry leaders and as industry professionals. That dual perspective shapes everything about how we serve churches.

  • Aaron Blair is the founder and CEO of The Conifer Co. He brings a rare combination of experience to this work — having served as a senior executive at a nationwide church design-build firm, and before that as an executive pastor overseeing the acquisition, design, and construction of a church campus. He has been on both sides of the table: as the ministry leader carrying the weight of facility decisions, and as the industry professional helping churches navigate them. Aaron holds a degree in Urban Planning and brings years of placemaking and community development work to his practice. He founded The Conifer Co. in early 2025 to give churches an accessible, strategy-first option that most firms don't offer.

  • Jessica Blair is a co-founder of The Conifer Co. and brings deep experience in community engagement, church ministry, event development, and small business leadership. As a former Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Director, she championed tourism and local business development by forging strategic partnerships and producing large-scale community events that strengthened both visibility and revenue for the region.

As a Main Street business owner, Jessica transformed a once-blighted property into a thriving enterprise, contributing to the revitalization of the surrounding district. Her leadership and entrepreneurial excellence earned her recognition as a finalist for the Albany Chamber’s Small Business of the Year and the top honor at the Albany Area Black Expo in 2012. She is also a recipient of the prestigious 40 Under 40 award.

Beyond her civic and business accomplishments, Jessica plays a vital role in church development, missions work, and ministry events. She has helped plan and execute impactful church outreach initiatives, and community-centered gatherings that create meaningful engagement both locally and abroad. Her passion for missions and global outreach reflects her heart for serving communities beyond the local church walls.

Jessica’s experience in business operations, strategic event planning, ministry coordination, and community development reflects her lifelong commitment to building vibrant, faith-centered, and economically strong communities.
